Founded in 1975
Founded in 1975, by Ron McCloskey who turned a one man show into a multi-million dollar Construction Service provider. Ron started projects with a handshake and a commitment to provide clients with the dream of ownership. He specialized in value engineering in a tough economy. As the company grew, MCI started many housing developments, apartments, retail projects and numerous medical buildings. All of these projects were started with a handshake and a promise to exceed our clients’ hopes and dreams.

Jeffery McCloskey
Owner & CEO
The second generation to run McCloskey Construction, Jeff has turned a family business into a flourishing commercial construction company. Having begun his career with residential, Jeff has since overseen more than 100 projects throughout the greater Spokane region and has helped shape the city as we know it. Now, with 2 of his sons by his side, Jeff continues to oversee projects, invest in new real estate, and work with several community organizations in our region.
In his free time, Jeff loves to spend time with his four children, their spouses, and his 3 grandchildren.
Matthew McCloskey
Project Manager
After earning a degree at Whitworth University and continuing his education at Michigan State Law School, Matthew rejoined the family business. He has over 10 years of construction experience, working on retail, multifamily, and large-scale residential properties. In addition, his background in commercial real estate and experience with CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) allows him to navigate both the needs of the project with the needs of the owner and/or investors. Matthew’s interpersonal skills and efficiency create a calm, efficient job site—even while working around an operating business.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys hiking and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Michael McCloskey
Project Manager
Michael’s construction experience ranges from large multifamily units, medical/dental offices, and large commercial retail spaces. Between his education from Eastern Washington University and 10 years on the job, Michael has exceptional technical know-how in order to keep projects on time and on budget. His passion for construction is seen throughout his work and personal connection with each and every one of our clients.
When not on the job site, Michael can likely be found at the lake or barbecuing with his family.
